SNB Restrains Franc Appreciation
The SNB reports about an increase in the current account surplus in
Q4 2011. The surplus reached ₣26.5B, thus exceeding the surplus seen in
Q3 2011 (₣19.1B) and Q4 2010 (₣19.9B). In 2011 the surplus reached
₣83.7B against ₣82.8B in 2010.
